About Me
I started my counseling journey at a very young age when I found myself compelled into the caring for other’s emotional selves. At first, I was tuning into my parents and other family members (including my twin brother seen in the photo to the right). Overtime, the compulsory tuning into and tracking almost everyone my world was so overwhelming and created a monumental challenge of feeling like I could be me.
In my early 20s, I found myself in a deep coping skill of substance dependence and was lucky enough to go to a substance use rehab. Although at the time this was tremendously challenging, it laid the groundwork for my recovery and my counseling journey.
Over the decades of my working on my personal boundaries, attachment, knowing both my ‘yes’ and my ‘no’, identifying my sense of self, working with my parts, resolving trauma, as well as many other journeys along the way - I finally feel a sense of freedom I never knew I could feel.
My hope and offering is in the creating a judgement-free and healing space to help others with their personal journeys, whatever that may be.
